Saroj KC
Saroj KC is a highly skilled multimedia storyteller and Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) practitioner with a passion for creating compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. With over a decade of experience in the media industry, he has honed his craft across various technical aspects of media production, including scriptwriting, camera operation, and post-production. Mr. KC began his career in 2008 as a drama writer at Antenna Foundation Nepal, where he developed his skills in crafting stories that captivate and engage audiences. He later worked with several leading organizations, including Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBI EA), Equal Access International (EAI), and BBC Media Action, where he served in different capacities such as producer, mentor, and production manager. As a fellowship holder of Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC), Mr. KC received specialized training on 'Soaps and Society' in the Netherlands in 2014, which further sharpened his skills in media production. He has also remained up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry, continuously improving his craft. In addition to his technical skills, Mr. KC is also a renowned lyricist of some popular modern Nepali songs, showcasing his creativity and versatility as a multimedia producer.
Durga Rana Magar
Durga Rana Magar is a highly acclaimed photo/videographer and multimedia journalist from Nepal, known for her exceptional visual storytelling skills and passionate advocacy for social justice. In 2018, she was awarded second prize in the daily life category of the Nepal Photo Contest organized by Photojournalist Club Nepal, and her work has been featured in numerous national and international publications. Durga is also a talented film director, having led several film projects, including Men in Menstruation 2019 and Unspoken Bond 2022. Her films have been praised for their ability to break down cultural barriers and promote greater understanding and empathy within communities. In addition to her creative work, Durga Rana Magar has also made significant contributions to humanitarian projects. She recently led a photo and video project for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) capturing the lives of 28 migrant workers in the Gandaki Province of Nepal. Durga's commitment to using her skills to make a positive impact on society has made her a role model for aspiring journalists and media professionals. Her selection as a fellow of the Women Reporters on Climate Change program in 2022, sponsored by the British Council, further reinforces her commitment to using media as a tool for positive change.
Bhabasagar Ghimire
Bhabasagar Ghimire is a highly skilled communication professional with extensive experience in managing multimedia projects, from concept design to the dissemination of social and behavior change communication (SBCC) messages and materials. He has worked with a range of organizations, including BBC Media Action, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), Family Health International (FHI), the Digital Broadcasting Initiative Equal Access (DBI EA), and Antenna Foundation Nepal, serving in roles such as SBCC material developer, writer, director, editor, and manager.
Prior to his work in communication, Mr. Ghimire worked as a news reporter for Nagarik National Daily, one of Nepal's leading newspapers. He has also been a Netherland Fellowship Programme (NFP) fellow, an opportunity which further enhanced his knowledge and skills in the field of communication. Mr. Ghimire is not only a skilled communicator but also an author of various children's books, showcasing his creativity and passion for inspiring and educating the younger generation. His vast experience, knowledge, and creativity make him a valuable asset to our team.
Shital Tamang
Shital Tamang is an accomplished and versatile media professional with extensive experience in multimedia broadcasting and content creation. Her career spans 14 years, during which she has worked with renowned organizations such as BBC Media Action, Equal Access, Citizen FM, Voice of Youth FM, Radio Kathmandu, and Power Media Network. In her roles as a Programme Producer and Presenter, she has demonstrated exceptional expertise and skills in delivering high-quality media content.
